How it began
Created by a co-parent who uses it daily.
Peaceful Co-Parenting started with a simple frustration: the tools meant to make co-parenting easier were making everyday tasks harder.

Founder
Where it started
Peaceful Co-Parenting was developed by Kevin, a co-parent. Like many parents, he began with the tools that already existed. He tried the two most well-known co-parenting apps.
In his experience, simple, everyday tasks took more effort than they should have. Checking the schedule meant digging through screens. Logging an expense took more steps than the expense was worth. Over time, opening the app became something to put off.
A co-parenting app should be a tool you can use in seconds, not one you dread opening.
Why that matters
Co-parenting already asks a lot. Schedules change, costs come up, and messages carry more weight than most. When the tool itself is hard to use, every one of those moments gets harder.
The goal was never to add more features. It was to make the everyday ones, like checking whose day it is, sending a message and splitting an expense, quick and clear, so the app stays out of the way and the focus stays on the kids.
What was built instead
Our app was thoughtfully designed from a co-parent's point of view, through years of development and testing. Chats and Expenses, the features co-parents reach for most, are front and center. The schedule is one tap away and shows up on both calendars.
When a conversation gets tense, ToneShield helps you pause and rephrase before you send. If a message that ToneShield flagged is sent anyway, it is marked as potentially offensive. And because every message is logged and may be reviewed in family court proceedings, there is one clear record of what was said.
The principles behind it.
Simple tasks stay simple
If a task takes more than a few taps, it gets redesigned.
Peace by design
A tone check on every message, sensible limits and no read receipts make calm the default.
A record you can rely on
Time-stamped, locked once sent, and exportable when you need it.
Still built by a co-parent
Peaceful Co-Parenting is still developed by the same person who uses it every day. Kevin is a father of three. He is also remarried to a mother of three who has her own co-parent, so the app is tested in more than one real co-parenting household.
That keeps every decision grounded in what co-parents actually need, and it means the app keeps getting better the same way it started: by noticing what is hard and making it easier. Have an idea or run into something that could be simpler? Tell us. It is read by the person who builds the app.
